The sociological research project with the goal to create a social and cultural image of Saint-Petersburg’s inhabitants based on the basic cultural characteristic of city residents. The research is conducted by phone interview. The project leader is Minina V.N. SC.D in Sociology, professor of the Department of Sociology and Communications SPSU.
The sociological research “Monitoring of Enhancement of Services in Higher education” and “Monitoring of Enhancement of Services in Secondary Education” in the framework of the State assignment for SPSU has started.
The 12th stage of the sociological research “Evaluation of the effectiveness of Saint-Petersburg City administration by residents” has started. The research was conducted by phone interview based on quota sampling 1500 participants, representing population of Saint-Petersburg aged 18 and older.

The research project was a telephone survey of 1500 residents that used a quota sample representing population of St.Petersburg aged 18 and older.

"Politically Polarized Online Groups on VKontakte formed around the 2013-2014 crisis in Ukraine and their Social Structures" paper by Ksenia Tsyganova coauthored with Anatoliy Gruzd (Dalhousie University) presented at the Crowdsourcing for Politics and Policy International Conference has won the Best Paper Award.
On September 25-26, staff members of the Resource Center – Ksenia Tsyganova and Svetlana Snopova – took part in the Crowdsourcing for Politics and Policy International Conference that took place in the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.
