News from Scientific Life of St.Petersburg State University

On April 7, 2017, Natalya Legostaeva presented a paper “The system of government regulation and enforcement of inter-ethnic relations in the Republic of Karelia” at an international scientific and practical conference for undergraduate and graduate students and young scientists. The conference on the theory and practice of today’s geographic research was organized by the Institute of Earth sciences of St.Petersburg State University. Legostaeva’s presentation included data visualization prepared with the help of Tableau, the software available in the Resource Center.    

Legostaeva is a research associate of sociology department of St.Petersburg State University.

Student study practice at the “Center for sociological and internet research” Resource Center has finished

The study practice at the “Center for sociological and internet research” Resource Center for junior sociology students (specializing in 38.03.03 “Personnel management”) has finished. The students have learnt about functioning of the Call Center and received some practical skills needed for working in the CATI system. The practice was supervised by Anastasia Krasova, Maria Salina and Vyacheslav Zemskov - staff members of the “Center for sociological and internet research” Resource Center.

Training and Research Practice based on RC «Center for Sociological and Internet Research» has ended

The training and research practice for the 3rd year students, who are studying the basic educational Bachelor’s direction of 38.03.03 "Human Resource management" has completed. The students received an idea about the activity of the Call Center and the skills of working in the CATI system. The staff of the RC «Center for Sociological and Internet Research» Anastasia Krasova, Maria Salina and Vyacheslav Zemskov has managed the practice.
